  • Stumbled on your Barn Find First Start video. The Savoy. My first car was a 63 Savoy slant six. My father bought it in 72 from the original owner for $300. It had 3200 miles on it. I loved it. It went anywhere, did anything I asked it to and was utterly reliable. I put over 100K miles on it over the next 11 years and I think the engine and trans would have gone on forever. But NJ weather and road salt rusted the firewall and floor out until my wife refused to ride in a car where she could see the road going by under her feet. Nobody wanted it. Finally got $40 for scrap. Broke my heart. Glad to see someone kept one safe for so long. Thanks for sharing it.
